Driven by Impact: Our values

We work hard to help those who want to make the world a better place raise more funds at lower cost.

How do we do that best? That’s the question we pursue every day. There is no single, obvious answer – and it is constantly evolving. It changes as the market changes.

That’s why we explore the many possibilities before us to find the right path forward. We act agilely when we identify a direction worth pursuing, and we are not afraid to change course when we realise we’ve taken the wrong turn.

A Look at Our History

We began in 2014 with a vision to make it easier for organisations to fundraise online. Our initial offering was website design, but as we listened to our clients, we recognised the need for a simpler donation process. So, we developed OnlineFundraising – a platform that provided easy access to card payments.

As time passed, we expanded our payment channels and services to better help our clients. It’s been an unpredictable journey, but one that has required adaptation, flexibility, and a willingness to change course when necessary.

As a small team, we share the responsibility of finding the right direction and we’re always looking for new ways to make an impact.

Achieving Our Vision

We strive to deliver solutions that are accessible to organisations of all sizes, including pricing that enables smaller groups to participate. This is why we continually adjust our license and offer waivers, as it fuels the passion and drive of small and startup NGOs.

We believe in the importance of giving all NGOs, big and small, the functionality and opportunities they need to raise money for causes they believe will make the world a better place.

What About Commercial Customers?

Together we can accomplish more, and with broad shoulders, we can carry greater burdens. That’s why we also cater to our commercial customers with care.

At OnlineFundraising, we have honed the skill of creating and maintaining donation agreements that do not involve physical exchange of goods or services. However, it is also enjoyable to work with commercial clients, who actually have the opportunity to offer their clients a quid pro quo. Our system is fine-tuned for this, and commercial customers help us maintain our exceptionally low NGO prices.

Working Together for Mutual Benefit

We believe in open cooperation, that’s why we’re determined to ensure that when we’re involved, it is for everyone’s benefit. For example when we don’t provide CRM functionality ourselves, our customers should have a free choice of CRM vendor and we actively work to ensure that CRM integrators – and systems benefit from having joint customers with us.

At the end of the day, we believe in recommendations over coercion. That’s why we go to great lengths to ensure that our services are freely chosen and not because there were no other options available.
